Our Mission:

Increase Cultural Resources, Opportunities & Participation in Yamhill County

Founded in 2002, the Yamhill County Cultural Coalition (501c3) represents the Oregon Cultural Trust in Yamhill County. YCCC is one of 45 county and tribal coalitions established by the Oregon Cultural Trust to increase public participation in culture by supporting and enhancing local cultural resources.

Every year, YCCC distributes funds from the Oregon Cultural Trust to organizations and individuals through a competitive grant application process.  YCCC supports programs that enliven and give access to the arts, heritage and humanities throughout Yamhill County.  Since 2004, YCCC has distributed over $1,000,000 to local cultural projects.

Oregon’s 45 county and tribal Cultural Coalitions are funded directly by the Trust and are unique to the state.

Led by dedicated volunteers, each coalition prioritizes community cultural goals and annually distributes seed grants that address the needs of each county.

Among these are Oregon’s nine federally recognized tribes, whose cultural contributions are integral to the region’s cultural vitality.
